Welcome Sai

I wanted to let everyone know that we have chosen a new exchange student for the next year. His name is Sai and he is from Norway. He should be arriving around August 4, in time for soccer practice. Of course, he does play soccer and he is looking forward to living with the coach. :-)
Hokan went home on June 16. He had a great year and did lots of traveling. He went to New York, skiing up north, Los Angeles, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Colorado to go skiing, Destin, FL and Chicago. He been more places than some Americans. He played soccer while he was here, ran cross country, played hockey and was on the track team. He promised to visit like Joi but when I told him Joi has been back 14 times he said maybe not that much.
Speaking of Joi, he and Sullivan visited in May. They both arrived on the same day and the same time just one in Detroit and one in Flint. It was great to see the both of them. Jakob will be here in July and Aydin is thinking of coming in September. Magne said he will be here later this year. His brother will be going to MIT next year to start his masters so Magne will visit the both of us. You know me, the more the merrier.
Floyd is in the process of redoing the boy's room and it is a mess. We had to tear down the wall with the window on it and now we have to wait 3 weeks to get a replacement. And the carpet is up too. It will be real nice when it is done but it looks like it is going to take a while. Then the computer room is suppose to be next but if the windows take that long it could be soccer time. I don't know if Jakob will have a place to sleep in there but hopfully Sai will.
I hope this finds you well. Best wishes to all of you.
